Feminist Climate Justice, Poverty and Environmentally Sustainable Systems: 

How Governments and Organizations are Taking Innovative Action at the Nexus of these Issues.

This event will provide an opportunity for governments, youth, civil society, and other FACJ Action Coalition stakeholders to come together and share concrete and innovative insights on actions that should be taken by diverse actors to accelerate feminist climate justice and gender equality while reducing poverty and promoting environmentally sustainable systems.

The speakers will share a set of actionable takeaways for the audience that will speak to key components of the CSW priority theme, including empowerment of women and girls, strengthening of institutions and financing with a gender perspective, and also serve to further inform discussions during CSW 68 and beyond to COP29.
